FAQ's
1. How does ipoints work?
How does ipoints work?
ipoints is the premier internet based loyalty rewards programme, with over 600 partners waiting to rewarded you for using their services. The principle behind ipoints is very simple: Shop, register or play with one of our partners and you will be rewarded with a certain amount of points depending on the offer. These "ipoints" can then be exchanged for hundreds of gifts from our rewards catalogue.
Simply log into ipoints.co.uk and go through to your chosen partner. In some places ("Full Loyalty Partners") ipoints can be collected directly on the partner site, without first visiting ipoints.co.uk. Simply look for the "Collect ipoints" symbol at the checkout. You can also collect ipoints by responding to special offer emails and completing polls and surveys.
You can watch the progress of your ipoints balance in your personal account. When you have accumulated enough ipoints why not take a look through our rewards catalogue and exchange them for a free gift.
Please note: In order to receive ipoints from our non-loyalty partners, you need to click through using the links on the ipoints website. Clicking through the links is very important because without it ipoints will not receive reports associated to the purchase or activity you've completed and therefore will not be able to credit you with ipoints. Unfortunately we are unable to credit points to an account retrospectively if this process has not been followed.
Is ipoints actually free?
Yes, joining ipoints is absolutely free. Not only will you not have to pay a thing to join but we will give you 50 ipoints as a welcome gift. Tell us a bit more about yourself and we will give you another 150! You'll see it's very quick to collect enough ipoints to get rewarding yourself.
Can I exchange my ipoints for cash?
ipoints do not offer this service as we believe in quality aspirational rewards that are reasonably priced for our members. Some of our competitors require their members to earn many thousands of points before their members can redeem out a cheque. Here at ipoints.co.uk we like to see our members getting rewarded as soon as possible. If the reward you are looking for is not available, there is always a great range of vouchers for you to choose from.
Can I redeem for rewards that are not in the rewards catalogue?
In certain reward categories there is the option to search for any rewards from the category supplier. So within the "Gadgets" category for example, it is possible to search the entire Prezzybox site. The "DVDs" category will search the whole Sendit.com site, while the "Books" category will search Amazon.co.uk. You can also redeem ipoints for vouchers from a whole range of great partners should you still not be able to find anything you fancy.
How long are my ipoints valid for?
There is no time limit for using ipoints. As long is your account is active any ipoints you earn will remain valid. Our goal is to develop a long-term relationship with our members. Therefore, following a long period of inactivity on your part, we will remind you of your ipoints credit and that you can spend them on rewards. If you do not collect ipoints or access your account for 12 months, we may cancel your membership, but we will always remind you first.
I share my computer, how can I ensure that ipoints are credited to my account?
For identifying and awarding ipoints to its members ipoints.co.uk assigns cookies to each user's account. If you use a shared computer, for example at university, internet cafes or work, it is possible that the tracking cookies of other members can be stored on the computer. As ipoints will be awarded automatically to the last active cookie it is important to make sure you have activated your own cookie by logging into your account at the start of each session.
