4. Exchanging ipoints for rewards
What rewards can I get with my ipoints?
There are literally thousands of rewards to choose from. Simply visit our "Spend ipoints" section where we have a selection of products and experiences for everyone. We have everything from DVDs and CDs to experience days and cases of wine. Be sure to check the rewards section regularly because we constantly extend our range.
How do I exchange my ipoints for rewards?
When you have chosen a product in our rewards catalogue, click the "Add to Basket" button at the bottom of the reward detail page. If you do not have sufficient ipoints for a reward you will not be allowed to add a reward to your basket. Depending on how long it has been since you last logged in, you may be asked to confirm your log-in and password. You will then be taken to a "Rewards basket page" where you can confirm, cancel or add more rewards to your order. Once you are satisfied with your order click the "Complete your order" button to be taken to a screen where you need to confirm your delivery address and enter your password one last time. Clicking on the "Confirm my order" button will then complete the order and take you to a confirmation page. ipoints will be removed from your account, and an email will be sent to you with details of the transaction.
The procedure is similar to other online shops. The only difference is the currency: here you pay with ipoints. Following successful processing of the order you will normally receive the reward within two working weeks. Please be aware that magazine subscriptions take from 4 - 6 weeks to arrive. If there is a delay please notify us immediately. Unfortunately, it is normally not possible to change or cancel the order once it has been submitted. We need to follow this policy to keep the price of rewards as low as possible.
What's the minimum ipoints I need to collect a reward?
In contrast to some other loyalty programmes you don't need to spend years collecting points before you qualify for a reward. In the rewards catalogue you will find products which you can buy for a small number of ipoints. The current cheapest item is the Twice the Spice Curry voucher allowing you to download enjoy two main meal curry dishes for the price of one. This reward will only cost you 200 ipoints!
Can I order more than one reward at a time?
You are able to order as many rewards as you can afford with your ipoints balance. To order multiples of the same reward simply change the "Quantity" field which appears underneath the reward. To order multiples of different rewards select the "Add more rewards" link at the bottom of the "My rewards basket" page. Please be aware that rewards may arrive at different times as different products will often be delivered by different companies.
Who sends out my rewards?
In most cases actual delivery of rewards is handled by external suppliers although ipoints will pay for and order the reward on your behalf. ipoints will also remain as a contact between the supplier and customer until the reward has been delivered. Please be aware that in most cases rewards will take 14 working days (Mon-Fri) to be delivered. In some cases this can be longer, for example, magazine subscriptions take 4 - 6 weeks for the first issue to arrive. If there is a delay please notify us immediately and we will contact the supplier regarding your delivery. Please ensure that you use the query system provided as this allows us to build up a picture of where we can improve our service. Unfortunately we are unable to respond to queries where 14 working days (or 6 weeks for magazine subscriptions) have not elapsed.
Can my reward be sent outside the UK?
ipoints is a UK based loyalty programme and as such unfortunately we are unable we are unable to send rewards to outside of the UK.
How do I cancel/modify my reward order?
Unfortunately we cannot cancel orders which we have forwarded to our reward suppliers, so once orders have been submitted the transaction is final. Also, it is not possible to reclaim the ipoints by returning Rewards to the sender. We need to follow this policy to keep the price of the rewards as low as possible.
Returns Policy
In the unlikely event that goods arrive faulty or damaged, please inform us immediately so that we can replace the item or refund your account with points. We can only refund the cost of postage with ipoints (1pt per 5p).
