More about Parachuting
Parachuting is one of the most exciting, thrilling and eXhilarating experiences available. Just imagine jumping out of an aircraft at 3,000 feet all on your own! Your parachute is operated by a static line system which will open automatically within a few seconds of leaving the aircraft. Then, its all down to you. The views from 3,000 feet are absolutely breathtaking as you steer your highly manoeuvrable parachute back to the drop zone.
What does the parachute course include?
The first day will start with thorough briefings from your instructor on all aspects of your parachute jump. This will include how to leave the aircraft, how to position yourself in the door, how to steer the parachute to your landing point and finally how to land. This training is quite involved and does require a certain amount of physical fitness.
To enable you to complete the jump you must complete a minimum of 8 hours training so it may not be possible to complete the jump on the same day.
Following the training its out to the aircraft where you will climb to approximately 3,000 feet before exiting and completing this unforgettable experience.
Where does the experience take place?
Devon, Kent, Lancashire or Perthshire.
What do I wear?
Comfortable clothing is recommended such as a tracksuit and a pair of training shoes and warm clothes in the winter. All other equipment will be supplied.
How long should I allow for the experience?
